What To Expect

A Warm Welcome

Friendly people will be there to welcome you, help you find your way around, answer any questions, and make you feel right at home. We offer safe, clean, and fun spaces for kids from infants through elementary age, and our team will assist you with check-in.

Kid’s Check-in

When you arrive, you will find a check-in table marked with our Kid’s team logo. One of our dedicated Connect Kid’s volunteers will walk you through a simple process of checking your children into our Kids environment. You will receive a printed sticker with your child’s information that you will use to retrieve them at the end of the service. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask one of our dedicated Kid’s volunteers.

Music and Worship

Services at Connection Pointe are exciting, upbeat, and powerful! We begin with a time of congregational worship and singing. It is not uncommon to see people raising or clapping their hands during worship. At the end of service you will see people coming down to the front to respond to the message and be prayed for. We invite you to participate at your own comfort level and experience God’s presence for yourself.

A Message from the Bible

Depending on the service you visit, you will either be encouraged and instructed with a verse-by-verse teaching or inspired and challenged through anointed preaching.

Sunday Service

Our Sunday services will inspire and challenge you through passionate, anointed preaching that delivers a clear word from God—deepening your faith and calling you to greater obedience.

MDWK Bible Study

Our midweek Bible study focuses on growing in our understanding of Scripture. There’s no hype or gimmicks—just clear, practical teaching from God’s Word. By studying specific books or chapters, we learn what the Bible actually says and strengthen our faith through it.

An Opportunity to Connect

Before you leave, we’d love for you to take a moment to fill out a Connect Card at the welcome table. Once you do, one of our ministry team members will reach out to see how we can best serve you. It’s a great way to ask questions, request prayer, schedule a coffee, or learn how to get more involved.

What should I wear?
We want you to wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing. We do not have any specific dress code for attending church and you are encouraged to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and respectful. As you get to know us you will find that our focus is on fostering a welcoming environment. Some will be dressed casually and others will be dressed up. Either way, feel free to dress in a way that aligns with your personal style and enables you to fully engage in the spiritual experience.
Are you a portable church?
You may be asking yourself, “What’s a portable church?” We’re glad you asked. We are a new church and so we have no permanent home yet, instead, we load our gear (computers, lights, cameras, screens, kids classrooms, etc.) into a rented facility each Sunday.

We do this so that people can experience the hope of Jesus. We are actively searching for a property to purchase and call home but until then we will continue to serve our community via the portable church model.

Where do I park?
When you arrive at King Street entrance, follow the parking signs to the right along the East side of the building. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before services begin.
What about my Kids?
We believe that kids should have have fun, be safe, and grow in their faith while at church – and at Connection Pointe, we make this a priority. Kids Church, affectionately called Connect Kids, includes games, music, worship, stories, teaching, and small group time.

Kids Church is offered every Sunday for kids newborn through fifth grade. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra five minutes to get signed into our Kids environment.

Connect YTH, our middle and high school ministry, joins the main service on Sundays and meets each week during our Wednesday MDWK service for a youth-focused lesson. In addition, we host a monthly small group or event—split into Jr. High and Sr. High—to help students grow in faith and community. For upcoming events, visit our Youth page.
